Decreasing Excess Sweat of Head
Hyperhydrosis or excess sweat is characterised by parts of the body sweating more than what is physiologically required. In a typical case of excess sweating, one can observe sweat on palms, underarms, soles of foot in an uncontrolled fashion. But in certain cases, excess sweat is also observed in the facial area. Most of such people tend to become depressed and shy from the society fearing embarrassment. Although various medical treatments exist to cure the disease, most people tend to remain shy from the doctors feeling either uncomfortable approaching the doctor or feeling that this situation does not need that kind of attention. In case of facial and cranial hyperhydrosis, many people prefer natural treatment.
Effective natural means exist to reduce excess sweat from the head. This include high daily intake of fruits, eating or rubbing leaves such as basil and sage. Meditating and performing yoga helps to relax the body and hence reduces excess sweating. A healthy lifestyle which includes abstaining oneself from smoking, decreased caffeine intake and eating less spicy and oily food helps in improving the condition. In case of males, a short hairstyle and in case of females, loosely tied hair provides an effective treatment to combat the situation. There also exist anti-sweating creams which can be applied over the area to keep it dry. However, these methods tend to be effective only if practised regularly and consistently.
In case, the natural means are not effective, a person can opt for the medications and injections or surgeries which are available with the doctors.
