It's not just for aliens anymore... it's not just a short story by Gerard Daniel Houarner (although originally, it WAS)... Circles in the Hair (CITH) is a New York City writers' group founded in 1990.

Nestling comfortably in the CITH.org site is the Web dwelling of Space & Time, one of the longest-lived small press magazines, bringing speculative fiction of all stripes to print since the early 70s? late 60s? (Help me out here, it's about as old as I am -- anyway, people were wearing beads and bellbottoms for the FIRST time back then.)
