Playgroups

When the club took its yearly survey, playgroups were cited as one of the main reasons people join the Redwood City Mothers Club.  People are looking for opportunities to meet people in their community and to help their children make friends.

Playgroups come in several different forms depending upon the members’ desires and needs.  For example, some meet at community parks where as others meet in member homes.  Some playgroups are organized by children’s age while others are open to all comers.  Playgroups meet most days of the week, and an up-to-date list can be viewed in the members only section of the website.  If there is not already a group that meets your needs, a member can contact the playgroup coordinator for help in organizing a new one.

Playgroups are a favorite activity of our members and give kids time to play and mothers time to meet and talk – when not on the run!
