How Does Wine Shield Work?

Wine Shield is incredibly easy to use, both at home as well as in the restaurant, winery and bar environment.

 

Wine Shield works by creating a barrier from the oxygen to the wine inside an opened bottle of wine; a little bit of oxygen allows the wine to breath, with too much oxygen changing the wine to vinegar! Wine Shield dramatically slows down the oxidation process by significantly reducing the amount of surface area that can be affected by oxygen. The barrier allows the server (and consumer) to enjoy an opened bottle of wine over the course of 5 days.

Each Wine Shield disc is packaged inside a perforated wrapper and is intended for one time use. The Wine Shield should be deployed using an included tweezers used to insert the disc through the neck of the 750ml bottle. It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
