“A Stolen Soul” by Barbara Walsh
Story about Laurence Jones (half Korean) who grew up in Maine before being murdered in Baltimore while attending graduate school. His mother, Yong Cha Jones, drew on her Korean beliefs as she fought for three years to find his killer. The story is really more her story than about Laurence. It was posted in 27 parts and started on Monday, June 1, 1998. It was published day by day over four weeks in the Maine Sunday Telegram and Portland Press Herald.
