spacer      Tom Medley once joked he would have liked a flamed '40 Coupe. But this isn't what he had in mind. Hot rodder, vintage go-karter, angler, cartoonist and creator of Stroker McGurk, Tom Medley recently suffered a hot rodder's most feared nightmare – a garage fire. A blaze in his Burbank shop torched nearly all its contents – tools, welders, sewing machines, memorabilia, etc.

   A Kool Show in TEXAS! This past weekend The Goodguys 19th Annual Lone Star Nationals were held in our home state, just a couple hundred miles north of us on I-35 in Fort Worth. With the beginning of fall rolling in, all the hot rodders and show visitors were welcomed with
very pleasant weather. By Texan standards. As some of you may have heard, “it gets hot in Texas” from time to time.
    We would like to thank everyone who stopped by the booth to visit and inquire about our latest products. Our very own Vice President, Rick Love and our National Sales Manager, George Packard were in attendance with their 1972 Camaro’s. They were there as spectators...we gave them a
well deserved weekend off. Rick and George along with seven or eight other local south Texas hot
rodders cruised up to Fort Worth for the weekend.
    This event marked the debut of George’s 1972 Camaro. What started out as a simple “scuff-n-shoot” turned into a two and a half year restoration. Look for a full feature article in an upcoming issue of Camaro Performers. Both Camaro’s are equipped with our Small Block Chevy Front Runner
and a Gen IV system. Below you will find two videos of George and Rick putting our products to the test. As you can tell by the videos, I willing to bet, most of there weekend was spent on the Autocross... Videos courtesy of our good friend Rick Ciemny.

     Jack Chisenhall, owner of Vintage Air was recently awarded the 2011 Robert E. Peterson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 13th Annual Hot Rod & Restoration Trade show. The Robert E. Peterson Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to true innovators in the hot rod industry.
