Love in Stockholm

Love in Stockholm is not your typical funk band. Though the thundering chorus of horns and the blistering vocals of Charlie Rockwell evoke memories of Joe Cocker’s Maddogs and Englishmen, the band is not just another in the long line of tributes to older, frankly better, acts. No, Love in Stockholm is not here to pay tribute. They are here to take the torch, and, after experiencing their wild live show, I am convinced they will hold it high.

On the heels of their first full-length album, Love in Stockholm are touring all over the eastern US this fall, including an upcoming appearance at the Old 78 Farm Festival. For a full list of their upcoming shows, click here.
