Nestling in 365 acres of stunning Cotswold parkland, bordering the beautiful village of Castle Combe, this 18-hole, par 72 course is one of the most spectacular in the South of England, which, in fact was recently substantiated with the coveted HSBC Gold Star Award.
Originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, it is located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has attracted the likes of Luke Donald, Colin Montgomerie and Justin Rose; who incidentally, played 9 holes of golf here on the morning of his wedding!
Golfers are now able to enjoy a thoughtfully lengthened course bringing many new features into play providing an exciting Championship course for all ages and abilities.
“We’ve built five new tees and have resurrected three others which were already there though not in regular use. There’s some stunning tee shots and none more so than the opening drive.
The course has also been re-sequenced providing the ultimate golfing experience. Add that to other significant changes such as refurbished driving range with hand cut target greens, a USGA spec teeing ground and also a starters hut, this course has been re-ignited and is worthy of challenging the world’s top golfers."
