About EcoRing

EcoRing's mission is to forge a corporate alliance among community organizations and green businesses to promote eco-tourism as highlighted by our adventures and presentations, as well as partnerships in the Bay Area's North Counties. Working with green businesses we promote tourism that protects the environment, improves the economy, and educates both local citizens and tourists about how a healthy environment supports a healthy economy.

Our ecotours
will give you an adventure of a lifetime, while supporting the local businesses and organic agriculture of Northern California.

Experience Ecotourism that is truly responsible and fun-filled, using low-carbon transportation - including hiking, biking, kayaking, (even ziplining!) while staying in certified green lodging, sampling healthy food and organic wine and supporting locally owned business agriculture.

The emphasis is on adventure, fun and discovery! Tours through Northern California include stops at San Francisco's famed Fisherman’s Wharf, travels through Marin and Sonoma counties, following historic railroad routes and scenic byways. Along the way you will travel through quaint villages and rolling farmland; sample internationally acclaimed wines of Sonoma County and visit organic markets, restaurants and farms; stroll through old growth redwood forests and experience the spectacular beaches of the Sonoma Coast.

On guided tours you can learn about the ecology, geology, history and pre-history of the area. Spend each night in locally owned and green certified historic hotels and inns and elegant B&Bs, with spectacular bay, river, ocean or vineyard views. Most lunches, breakfasts and dinners will be provided and will feature local organic food and wines. All transportation on our tours is provided by professional, insured vendors.
