An Invitation To Attend

On behalf of the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, we would like to invite you to the Green Valley Ranch, Resort & Spa, in Las Vegas, Nevada - the site of the 42st Structures Congress from April 14 - April 16, 2011.

This year’s Congress consists of 10 concurrent technical tracks that focus on the theme: “Don't Gamble on your Future - Come to the Structures 2011 Congress." The Congress will demonstrate what is redefining structural engineering in the areas of bridge and transportation structures, buildings, and advances in research. You will exchange ideas with your peers and find out how their company has adapted to changes in today’s global economy. Take this opportunity to earn PDHs and apply your new knowledge so that you and your business will thrive.

This year's Congress schedule has an exciting new change!  The Congress opens on the morning of Thursday, April 14, and concludes with an afternoon closing technical session on Saturday, April 16, 2011

The 2011 Congress will offer information from research and practice in more than 100 technical sessions including:

  • Bridge & Transportation Structures
  • Buildings
  • Extreme Loads
  • Forensic Track - Organized by ASCE's Technical Council on Forensic Engineering (TCFE)
  • Las Vegas Structures
  • New Research and Novel Application
  • Energy Structures and Nonstructural Components

You won’t want to miss the Thursday Welcome Reception held poolside and the Friday night’s social event at the Hoover Dam.
