"Low Lonesome" was also kindly reviewed by Relix Magazine in their latest print edition, available in stores now.
I'm also delighted to announce that Dazzle Recordings will be putting "Low Lonesome" on their label!
And, more on the January 13 and 14th Improvised Roots shows- John Gunther will be playing reeds as well, so I'll be joined by Dave Douglas on trumpet, Aoife O'Donovan on vocals, Matt Flinner on mandolin, banjo, and guitar, and John Gunther on reeds!! So excited about this lineup!!

Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:22AM My Low Lonesome Quartet show featuring Scott Amendola on drums is coming up in less than a week! I've been working on some new music for this show, should be fun. Also pleased to announce that Josh Quinlan will be joining us on saxophone.
On December 3rd, I've been asked to be a featured performer with the Colorado Conmposers Collective- several Colorado composers will be writing original works for me to perform with small ensembles. I'm honored and excited by the opportunity. The concert will take place at the Walnut Room in Denver, CO.
