We are delighted to announce that British FantasyCon will be returning to the historic seaside city of Brighton in 2012.

Following the unprecedented success of FantasyCon 2011, the event will once again be held at the Royal Albion Hotel, only a few minutes walk away from numerous restaurants, wine bars and clubs, as well as the Antiquarian shopping precinct The Lanes, Brighton Pier, the Sea Life Centre and the world-famous Royal Pavilion.

JOE R. LANSDALE lives in Nacogdoches, Texas, with his wife, Karen. He is the author of more than thirty novels and twenty short story collections, with over two hundred short stories, articles, essays and stage plays to his credit. The British Fantasy Awards will once again be presented at a glittering Banquet on the Sunday afternoon and, as always, seating will be strictly limited. Again, details will be announced in due course. Please remember that the Banquet sold out this year, so don’t delay to avoid disappointment. All members of the British Fantasy Society, along with registered members of FantasyCon 2011 and FantasyCon 2012 are eligible to cast their votes. VOTING IS NOW OPEN, UNTIL 31 March 2012. Anyone who signed-up to the now-cancelled Corby event at this year’s FantasyCon will be offered the opportunity to convert their membership to Brighton 2012 or will receive a full refund. Please wait to be contacted.
