participating in the games you're agreeing to the rules.
Every participant of the event is expected to treat the participants as
well as
the hosts with the utmost respect. This is being held at our meeting
room, so
please when using the facilities clean up after yourself. The bathrooms
etc
are shared so please be considerate. The LAN game host is the final say
in
the goings on of a lanparty. This person can change rules at any time
This
person is allowing the Guests to use his/her resources, and because of
this,
the Guests need to follow the rules or get kicked out.
- No smoking. If
you need to smoke, go outside to do so.
- No weapons,
alcohol, tobacco, or any illegal substances.
- No fighting name
calling, antagonizing, or otherwise being a
jerk. Fights will get you kicked out. Please treat all people with
respect and patience.
- No excessive
profanity. We understand frustration will happen,
just watch what you say and be considerate.
- No screaming -
an occasional w00t is fine.
- No stealing.
Stealing or going through someone elses stuff will
get you kicked out. You are responsible for your own equipment. ACGNJ
cannot be responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property. Keep track
of your own stuff. We will do what we can, but we will not accept
liability. Please don't touch equipment that's not yours without
permission.
- No deliberate
hacking. Any DDoS attacks, or NMAP scans done
against anyone should only be done for educational purposes and the
person being scanned needs to know before any scan is attempted.
Spreading of virus like code will not be tolerated. Consider this your
final warning.
- No Porn.
Pornography is strictly prohibited. No exceptions. There
might be people present who just don't want to deal with it.
"Pornography" includes screen savers, backgrounds, movies, stickers,
etc. Remove it from your stuff before you get there. If you feel the
material is questionable, remove it because it probably isn't welcome.
- No cheating, If
you cheat, you will be asked to leave. We will
investigate accusations to the best of our ability. Cheating ruins the
game for the everyone.
- Keep your area
clean. Pick up after yourself. You're momma ain't
here to clean up after you.
- Be a humble
winner. Be a Good Sport, praise people for good
frags, don't whine when you get shot or loose an event! Don't be a sore
loser. Someday you may have to come to the realization that someone out
there is actually better than you. Deal with it. Practice and get
revenge next time.
