Hi, Iām Will Norris. I’m an engineer on Google’s developer relations team working on the Google+ platform. I’ve spent much of my career working on developing tools and technologies for the indie web like OpenID, OAuth, XRD, and Activity Streams. In a former life, I also did time in the identity management space hacking on Shibboleth and LDAP directories at USC. I’m also a huge fan of WordPress, and continue to maintain a number of plugins and occasionally contribute to WordPress core.

This site is powered by WordPress and uses the PDX theme with a custom style and is hosted on a Joyent SmartMachine. I invested in TextDrive way back in the day as one of the VC200, so I have a lifetime account at Joyent. Even if I didn’t, I’m sure I’d still host with them — I’ve always had great experiences with the team at Joyent, and their technology stack is really solid. All of my domains are registered with Gandi. They certainly live up to their “no bullshit” motto, and I’ve been very happy with them. They may be a few bucks higher than some of their competitors, but it is well worth it.
