Succeeding as a design entrepreneur is not easy. But you can improve your chances by learning from subject matter experts — and other entrepreneurs who have been there, done that. ADCMW’s Business Casual series is all about gaining insights from design freelancers, entrepreneurs, and business owners who have learned the hard way what works … and what doesn’t!
On the last Tuesday of each month from January through April, we’re hosting a friendly, intimate gathering to explore the big challenges of succeeding in the design business, beginning with an overview of the legal issues involved with launching your own business!

Join us for an exciting panel on "Starting Your Design Business" from a diverse group of designers that have been successful going out on their own. Hear from the perspective of a one-person shop, to a three-person partnership, to a ten person group to the largest agency in town. Learn about starting out from the perspective of a woman-owned company, print shops, web agencies and going from freelance to full-time and knowing when to grown, if to grow and how to make it all happen.
