I have been blessed in life. I am married to an amazing woman who inspires me daily. Together we have four amazing children. And most importantly, I have been rescued by the love of my heavenly Father and the work of His son Jesus Christ.
I have also been blessed in my work life. I graduated with a diploma in Computer Information Systems in 2003 and worked in the health care industry for six years. But politics, red tape, and dress code wore me down over time and I felt the pull of the opportunities the web offers. Thankfully, starting Fusion Ads led to full time employment working for myself.
I currently run Fusion Ads, an online store, do some design work, and host a podcast. In each area of my work, I have been both amazed and blessed by the kindness and skill of the people I get to work with. Fusion has especially been good to me in this way β the talented people that make up the network are world class and are always ready to lend a hand.
And that's what makes working on the web such a pleasure.
Another passion is simple living. I don't know what other title I could use here, but the ideals are contain the following:
- Consume less.
- Eat locally grown organic fruits, vegetables and animal products. In season.
- Grow some food yourself, be more in touch with the land you live on.
- Unplug, often.
