Bio
Ester Bloom’s writing has appeared in Salon, the Hairpin, the Awl, Nerve, the Morning News, Thought Catalog, the Film Experience, PANK, Hello Giggles, Bluestem, Zone 3, Pixelhose, Phoebe, the Apple Valley Review, Conte: A Journal of Narrative Poetry, and other venues. She is a columnist for Trachodon Magazine’s blog, Cheek Teeth. Fellowships include the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Vermont Studio Center (Summer 2012). Her collection of lighthearted essays about serious topics, entitled Never Marry a Short Woman, is represented by Michele Rubin at Writers House.
