This is a cudgel, carved in 2000 inspired by a character
from the Norse myths, Bergelmir was the progenitor of the
frost giants after Ymir (the first frost giant) was slain
by Odin and his brothers. The name
"Bergelmir" is inscribed in nordic runes along the
body of the cudgel.
This cudgel is carved out of an uprooted striped maple sapling.
and is 26 1/2 inches in length from horn to pomel. |
