It is easy to accept that travel simply means those excursions we take on vacations or long weekends to ports of call around the world or to scenic, historic and recreational America.
Yet, at venturegalleries, we believe that some of the most devout travelers of all are those who take to the highways and journey to the nation's sporting events. On every Saturday and Sunday each autumn and early winter, hundreds of thousands are on the road, headed to college and NFL football games. For them, the art of tailgating is better than dining at a five-star restaurant. People travel ten miles or hundreds of miles to see major league baseball, basketball, and hockey. They flock to NASCAR tracks and rodeo arenas. They hunt. They fish. They soak up the personal experience of the great outdoors.
Sports beckon us all.
And to sporting events we travel.
We can't help it.
It's the American way.
