Writing is my passion de jour and this one's been sticking. One thing I love to do is connect with other human beings. Writing is my way of doing that. I am proud to announce my essay "I Got A Boy" was published in the spring 2011 book Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms.

When I got pregnant in 2006 I knew one thing for sure…I wanted a girl. This is the story of my transformed expectations and blessing in disguise when I found out I was having a boy. My story was truly honest and from the heart. My latest creation that is worth way more than the paper it is printed on is my memoir and how-to-guide, Eat, Drink and Remarry. It is StaceyLu's guide to planning the second time around. I am as equally proud of this opus. (is that over the top? Nahh!)

I was twenty-eight when my first marriage was over and thirty walking down the aisle again. Yikes! Talk about having a story to tell. This tale is also told with honesty and humor and contains some tips for women who find themselves on the same sinking ship I was on, planning a second wedding. It only took seven years to complete so I am feeling right on schedule. For those of you not planning a second wedding, buy it anyway, its funny!
