Ernie Hsiung is Principal of LYD Labs, a small business focused on front-end development for community based websites. Previously, he was a Developer Evangelist at internet start-up Ning, as well a front-end engineer for Yahoo! and its product development incubator, Yahoo! Brickhouse. Along with his development work, Ernie is a well-known blogger: He's the founder and Editor-in-Chief of 8Asians.com, a community blog for Asian Americans and for over ten years blogged about his personal life on his award-winning weblog Little, Yellow, Different. Ernie holds a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from University of California Davis.
Mike Lee is a former software engineer turned startup entrepreneur. With a background in web and mobile technologies, Mike cofounded WebMocha, a technology services agency with clients such as Google, Yahoo!, MySpace, ideeli, MOG, etc. Most recently, he was the Director of Mobile Products at TripIt. Prior to that, he held senior product management and technical management roles at Yahoo!. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for several technology startups. Mike holds a B.S. in marketing and a B.A. in graphic communications management & technology from New York University.
