Meet Barb Quinn

From lemonade stand vendor to online pioneer, Barb has demonstrated entrepreneurial instincts all of her life.  She really was that kid with a lemonade stand on the corner. Later, after her graduation from Cosmetology school in 1977, she rapidly achieved peer recognition as an officer of the St. Paul chapter of the Association of Master Barbers and Beauticians.  Her career as a professional hairstylist spanned 24 years, as she became one of the industrys leading professionals.

In 1994, recognizing the contribution computer-imaging technology could make to the hairstyling industry, Barb founded Styles on Video, a hairstyling computer imaging company.

Since then, Barb has become a nationally-recognized hair designer, speaker, trainer, and Americas first online hairstyle consultant, counseling more than 15,000 women to achieve their most flattering hairstyle.

Barbs pioneering adult ed class, Finding the Right Hairstyle for You!" offered in 60 locations, 300 times a year, is now available online through numerous college and educational partners.

Barbs www.hairstyle-blog.com is dedicated to helping women achieve and enjoy looking their best, and provides daily updates with the latest tips and tricks for current hairstyles.  With hair designs, style pictures, hair color and advice, its a popular Internet destination visited by 11,000 women daily.

Barb, together with husband, Gary, launched Growth Strategies in 1997, a leading-edge online business providing training, counseling, computer hair imaging, and e-commerce.  Visit their web site: www.gsinet.org.
