Students at Colorado State University, one of the 15 North American universities selected to participate in the EcoCAR competition, will build the only hydrogen fuel cell plug-in vehicle in the contest. The students are working to turn a donated 2013 General Motors Chevrolet Malibu into a hybrid vehicle.

Russ Schumacher, a researcher who was responsible for a groundbreaking study about the Windsor tornado's impact on emergency services and response times, is back working for CSU.Schumacher, formerly an NCAR researcher at Texas A&M, led the study, but he has since joined the university.

    Colorado State Forest Service Names New Deputy State Forester

    For the last decade, Duda served as the CSFS Forest Management Division supervisor. During that time, he led the agency in its cooperative efforts with the U.S. Forest Service to conduct annual aerial insect and disease surveys.
