Flow is an online journal of television and media studies launched in October 2004. In our 6 year history we have published over 900 columns from over 300 authors from around the U.S. and the world. Flow’s mission is to provide a space where researchers, teachers, students, and the public can read about and discuss the changing landscape of contemporary media at the speed that media moves.

Flow is a project of the Department of Radio-TV-Film at the University of Texas at Austin. Flow is coordinated and edited by graduate students in the Department of Radio-Television-Film and is published bi-weekly.

Flow encourages public discussion via comments in the provided space following our content; however, we reserve the right to delete comments that are abusive, libelous, or slanderous. Comments accompanied by invalid e-mail addresses will be deleted.
