I love MP3 players. I have been using them for a number of years. I listen to one every day.

This site is an outgrowth of the long search for my latest MP3 player. The search was, in a word, painful.

Even though I had a good idea of what features I couldn’t live without and what players were on the market at the time, I still had to spend hours upon hours scouring the web for reviews, scrutinizing product specs and asking questions on different player forums.

At the time, there just wasn’t a resource that gave me all the apples-to-apples information I needed to make an informed choice. That, then, is the inspiration for this site: consistent, useful information for easier comparisions; news and information on the latest products; help buying the right player; and connecting people with their user community.
