PIME Lay Missionaries

You’ve seen their photos and read their stories. Maybe you’ve heard missionaries preach about the people in the missions. You’ve prayed for them and perhaps have offered financial assistance. But something is nagging at your heart. Is there more I can do? Is God calling me to serve his people in the missions directly?

If you’re so convicted, the PIME Missionaries invite you to explore our Lay Missionary Program.

Applicants will be provided with information about temporary assignments in our foreign missions. If approved after completing an interview process, lay missionaries will be invited to volunteer a period of at least three months living among the people served by PIME.

Likely candidates for this unique opportunity are men and women who are over the age of 18 and in good general health. Those with skills in the fields of medicine, education and/or languages are particular encouraged to apply.

Families with children are welcome to inquire about the opportunity as well.

Expenses will vary depending on the location of the mission assignment and its duration.

Contact us to begin the application process or for more information.
