Braindouche! Promos!

So, you like Braindouche!, huh? Wanna tell the world? Play one of these promos on your show. Go ahead. I dare you.
First, there was the Insults Promo. Nothing but me and a bunch of podcasters talking about me in perhaps a less-than-flattering way. This one, lonely promo served all alone for a long time, and it’s served me well. For the curious, the voices featured are, in order, Jared Axelrod, Bruce Williams, Lorenzo Haggerty, Grizzly Smith, and Robin Diane Goldstein.
Then, there was the Mad Poet Promo. The inimitable Zach Ricks, known far and near as @madpoet, generously creating this Braindouche! promo with his most talented wife, who’s name I honestly don’t know. Why would he do that? Because I asked him to, and he had a few moments to spare to a little bit of madness.
Here, we have the Thunderthroat Promo, dedicated in memory to Don Lafontaine. Not only is this promo the utter unalloyed bombast most podcasts wish they could get away with, it’s begs the question: why do people keep thinking I’m a dude, even after they hear me talk? I know i’m a basslady, but it’s not that bad, is it? The music is Dynasty of Drums, by Jeremiah Pena.
The Wash Out Promo is the first promo I’ve paid to have professionally done. Produced by Cayenne Chris Conroy, it’s got big laughs, little laughs, a surprisingly complimentary selection of my work, and none of my voice at all (which I think is the funniest part of the whole damn thing). Authoritative announcer is authoritative!
