Under the Ice is a work in progress. It’s a fantasy novel, or maybe series of novels following the lives of Paitrice, Maikil and Tarn, three mermen struggling to find their way, and their love, in a world dominated by men who fear the sea and would use them for their own ends.

Patrice

All he wanted was to save his lover from those who would use him. He could not know how far from home his quest would take him, or where his heart might end up.

Tarn

All he wanted was to live his half life in peace. He couldn’t leave an injured merman alone to the mercies of the dogs, no matter how sure he was his quiet life would never be the same.

Dove

He wanted to see the sea. Born in captivity, he wanted more for himself and his little family of captives. He wanted more. Period.
