Everyone Deserves To Breathe Smokefree Air

Every year, hundreds of Mississippians die from exposure to secondhand smoke. Yet, despite the evidence demonstrating the danger of secondhand smoke, it continues to be an alarming public health hazard. The facts are clear: There is no safe level of secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke causes heart disease, lung cancer and other serious health problems. And children are especially vulnerable to its risks.

Now’s the time for action. Momentum is growing in Mississippi to protect everyone from secondhand smoke in all workplaces. Please join us in this important effort that will provide healthier environments for all Mississippians.
