Wisconsin Voices
To utilize collaborative issue-based programs and civic engagement campaigns to advance progressive public policy, make a progressive policy agenda compelling to public officials, and build long-term infrastructure for 501 (c)(3) progressive organizations.
Wisconsin Voices is a partnership of organizations, activists, and allies working at the state and local level to increase capacity and integrate the capacity of our partner organizations by:
- Conducting research-driven policy development and education.
- Communicating a Common Good public policy agenda.
- Building local coalitions that promote progressive values through civic engagement.
- Strengthening, deepening and broadening leadership and organizational capacity.
- Creating innovative approaches to sharing resources, communicating ideas, and sustaining programs over time.
We envision a dynamic movement that builds and empowers leaders actively working toward advancing socially responsible public policy. Wisconsin Voices provides partners with cutting-edge technology, tools, rigorous planning and evaluation, and issue and strategic expertise and support to build their organizational capacity. We provide the space for people to come together to shape public debate around our common values and issues, to build new capacity for long-term strategies, to enhance and connect advocacy organizations, and to create new partnerships with donors and funders.
Wisconsin Voices is a project of State Voices, a national organization dedicated to fostering collaboration among 501 (c)(3) organizations on the state level to encourage civic participation.
