New Well in Kyeibanga, Uganda at Dr. B. Medical Clinic

Filed under: Uganda — admin @ 7:05 pm

UPDATED WITH VIDEO:

How Easy Does the Pump Work? from Water4 Foundation on Vimeo.

Water4 recently participated in a joint project with B.A.R.H.D. (Bushenyi Alliance for Rural Health and Development) for a well near what is known as the Dr. B. Medical Clinic in Kyeibanga, Uganda.  The Dr. B. Medical Clinic, and now the Mrs. B. Maternity Ward, are a result of JoAnn Belknap’s dedication of her time and resources after the death of her husband, well known and well loved Norman doctor, Hal Belknap.  The drill kit and other material were made possible by Wishing Well: Water for the World.

The well was drilled and completed over 4 days in mid July and will serve not only the water needs for the Dr. B. Medical Clinic/Mrs. B. Maternity Ward, but also the people who live in Kyeibanga, Uganda.  Pictures and video when they become available.
