• DEFINITELY FILIPINO BLOG NETWORK

This blog and the Facebook Page was born from the idea that we should further our culture regardless of where we are, or where we were born. It is meant to be interactive so everyone can learn from each other. Around May 2009, I was browsing Facebook’s other Filipino Groups and Pages and realized that there wasn’t really a place in Facebook where Filipinos can mingle and meet others. These Groups/Pages, though promoting Filipino culture and pride, did not have interaction between its members. Their members would simply visit the group in the beginning, then forget about it afterwards and seldom return. This is the basis and philosophy behind this Page. It’s the place to come, learn, interact and belong…. We were founded July 27, 2009 and has since grown close to 1.1 million members (as of November 2010) – the largest culturally-related Filipino group on the internet!

The Reason Why I’m Here (OFW Blues)

    March 14, 2012

    March 14, 2012
When I was still in grade school, I never really thought of becoming anything. As in no dreams at all. Not even becoming a princess! I stayed that way until I entered high school. Just that! I was learning things which I didn’t know where to use them...

    March 14, 2012
Most people- -including me- -only eat foods that satisfy their palate. For example, I have a natural distaste for dishes with "ginataan" on their names and the sight of coconut milk being added to a recipe makes me feel nauseated most of the time. We a...

    March 6, 2012
