Your Right Weight. Guaranteed.

“Guaranteed” is a pretty strong word to throw out there, especially when talking about finding the right driver.  After all, the driver may the most finicky of all clubs in your bag, it is the club that magnifies the imperfections the most, the club that can feel so perfect on one swing and so incredibly foreign on the next.  How many times have you heard someone say (or said yourself): “I hit it so well at the demo day, but when I brought it to the course I didn’t hit a single shot solid.”

Well, we want to put an end to this problem.  Our new drivers come in three different weights (TL310, SL290 and XL270 grams).  Here is the guarantee that we make to you: If you buy one of our drivers, and are not fully satisfied that we fit you into the correct weight, you have 60 days to bring it back and get refit, free of charge.

“Weight is one of the most important elements of driver fitting.  However, it has traditionally been overlooked by many amateur players.  By offering drivers in three different weights golfers are sure to get in the Driver that best suits their game.  The Right Weight Guarantee should give all golfers confidence when making their selection.  If for some reason the golfer is not totally satisfied with his or her selection, our Retailers and Golf Professionals will exchange the club for another Right Weight model.  We truly stand behind our products and our dealers, and pledge to do everything we can to get Cleveland Players in the club that maximizes distance and accuracy. ” –Chuck Thiry, Cleveland Golf Brand Manager

So, readers, what are you waiting for?  Make sure to get out and try a Launcher RightWeight Driver at any of our Demo Days or Retailers across the country!

270 or 290? My swing speed is in the high 80s to low 90s. 20 handicap. Have a tendency to fade/slice a little .

And what if I purchase from an online retailer like Amazon? Will the Guarantee still apply?

    Thanks.

I have bought a 9 draw S driver 39gms but it is not performing how I expected – shaft feels far to weak/light & have lost 20yds. Took it back to change for the heavier shaft but pro shop & Srixon Australia said they don’t recognise the Cleveland Guarantee. I bought the club a) recommended by my friend Cam Percy b) the Guarantee 3) becuase I have just switched to the 52/56/60 Cleveland wedges – and found them excelent. I am really disappointed in your agents/retailers customer service stance on this matter Also, is the Draw model with stock shaft a “custom build”?. I am 68 yo Hcp 2 & ranked No.2 Australlian Senior OOM. Have played 2 Eisnehower Cups & have just retired as Chairman of the Victorian Senior Tour. As a long time golf administrator, promoter & golf writer I would like to believe Cleveland will stand behind its Guarantee

I am a 16 Handicap. About 3 weeks ago I bought the XL270, 12 degree with Sr. 39g shaft from my club Pro. I just turned 68 and I figured it was time to go over to a Sr. flex. It replaced my R7 (10.5 degree) with regular shaft. In the beginning I hit it well. My swing is boarder line speed between Sr. and Regular. I found that I was beginnig to struggle with the club…to match its best characteristics with my swing speed. I truned the club back to the Pro and went back to my R7. He ordered the same XL270 club with Reg shaft. It came in today just before a Scramble at our course. I stepped to the tee and hit a 230 yd drive squared down the middle …the first time. This club is probably 20 to 30 yds better with the Srixon soft feel than the R7. Its scarry. Unless you have a really consatant “Sr. ” swing speed”.. go with the regular shaft. What a piece of machinery!

Cleveland will not stand behind their “guarantees” in Australia – the products are sold thru Srixon. Their arrogance to such customer complaints is legend. Customer service or lack of it will catch up with them some day.
