Professional Bio

Tara began her career with HelmsBriscoe in 2009. She enjoys working with HelmsBriscoe because she can provide a trusted and valuable service to all of her clients. She puts all of her years of experience in this industry to work for her customers. Tara sincerely cares about her clients and stays in constant contact with them to make sure their needs are met and their events are a success. Tara works with associations, sports groups, non-profits, as well as corporations to assist them with their hotel and meeting planning needs.

Tara’s tourism and hospitality career began with the North Carolina Department of Tourism, Film, and Sports Development. She has continued to work in this industry and has over 15 years of experience including hotel sales, DMC tour coordination, and meeting planning.

Tara graduated from Meredith College with a BS degree in Business Administration and minor in Geography. She lives in Youngsville, NC with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys traveling the country with her family and visiting national parks.
