Not having met this New York couple before the actual wedding day, I had no idea what to expect- but they could not have been more wonderful! After only spending 5 minutes with Laura and Charles, anyone could see that they have something truly special. I loved seeing her nose wrinkle when he made her laugh and hearing how he reminded her of how beautiful she is every 10 minutes. Thanks to their lovely wedding, I fell in love with their unique venue, Barndiva, with the town of Healdsburg, and with this fun pair.

Julia + Eli Sneak Peek

I was looking forward to photographing Julia and Eli’s wedding ever since we met for coffee 5 months ago. On the morning of their wedding, I woke up and looked outside and was so thankful that such a great couple got such beautiful weather for their special day. This traditional Korean/Jewish wedding was held in the Brazilian Room at Tilden Park in Berkeley and it could not have felt more intimate or been more lovely.

Katie + Johnny – Sneak Peek from Kelly

Walking in to the San Francisco house Katie grew up in, I immediately felt at home.

The Irish teacups with Belleek designs on them, the quaintly patterned couches, and the paintings of Irish countryside reminded me of childhood visits to my Grandparents home.

Katie’s excitement before the ceremony was heartwarming and contagious- so contagious that I wish I could have put down my camera and been a bridesmaid for the day! During the cable car ride to the church (that’s right, we took a cable car!) Katie must have said, “I’m getting married!!” at least 17 times.

I’m so thankful I got to tag along with the Flory Photo team and assist at this beautiful wedding. Here are some of the photos I took.. enjoy!

It was truly an honor to be a part of John and Katie’s big day and I want to thank Joel for the opportunity to tag along and help capture moments for these two.  Let’s just say there was never a dull moment from the start of the day where one of the groomsmen took a bit of a fall off the SF cable car to the crazy dance party at the end of the night.  But seriously, nothing could deter your attention away from the love birds.  Wish you two nothing but awesomeness in all the years ahead as husband and wife.

Julia + Eli

A little bit ago I had pleasure of photographing engagement pictures for the wonderful Julia + Eli! They are one of those sweet couples that just fit and I loved getting to know them better during the session. A few months ago, Joel and I met up with Julia + Eli to grab coffee and discuss their weddings plans. At that time Eli hadn’t ever heard of engagement shoots. So you better believe I was the happiest photographer when I realized that Eli not only went location scouting but had the whole session planned out. I really like this pair and I can’t wait to photograph their May wedding in Berkeley!
