PBS Online Film Festival Kicks off With Real Stories
PBS has launched its first Online Film Festival and showcase of twenty short films from independent filmmakers. The first week's theme is "Real Stories". One of the stories included is "I Survived" which is a first-hand account of Sgt. Samuel Tapia's experience when his convoy hits a roadside bomb. The film was created by Kiera Lasiloo (Zuni/Cochiti Pueblo). If you enjoy the film, vote for it by clicking the "like" button on the YouTube page or its page on PBS.org. A People's Choice award will be given to the film with the most votes. |
