Dr. David Lemberg is a bioethicist and Executive Producer and Host of
SCIENCE AND SOCIETY, the lead-the-field
Internet radio program. Dr. Lemberg was one of the pioneers of the now burgeoning field of Internet radio, and he was an early promoter of podcasting,
making SCIENCE AND SOCIETY interviews available as podcasts in July 2005.
Since 2003 Dr. Lemberg has interviewed more than 700 world leaders in the fields of cancer
research, genetics and genomics, nanotechnology, environmental conservation and renewable resources, and science education. SCIENCE AND SOCIETY guests include
Nobel Laureates, industry executives, senior government and NGO public policy makers, and best-selling authors.
Dr. Lemberg directs the Center for Dynamic Brain Therapy at the Institute for Specialized Medicine in Del Mar, CA.
His policy paper On the Moral Significance of the Distinction Between Spare and Created Embryos won Third Prize in the American College of
Legal Medicines 2010 Hoffman Bioethics Writing Competition.
