Davis Web Sites - All Licensees

Before you set up a web site, please review the standards on this site, and provide these to your site designer to make sure all requirements are included in the initial site design. Please feel free to print out all pages on this site, and/or to provide your site designer with URL for this site: web.davis.info

If you are in a country that has a DDA, please contact that DDA to determine if they also have requirements to be incorporated.

It is particularly important that you familiarize yourself with the following information:

To help with design, please also print out and use the Checklist for Davis Provider Sites.

Under your Licensing Agreement, your website is subject to the same rules as other sorts of commercial use of Davis copyrights, service marks and trademarks, such as business cards, letterhead, and flyers. You must get approval from DDAI and from the DDA for your country for any part of your web site discussing your activities or practice as a Davis Facilitator prior to publication. If your web site contains Davis trademarks or refers to your status as a licensed Facilitator, you may not not advertise or promote the site in any way until it has been approved.

Submission of Site for Approval

As soon as your site is ready, please notify the DDA in your country and the DDAI Webmaster (webmaster@dyslexia.com) of the URL. Please allow 10 working days for approval.

Changes requested by DDAI regarding trademark or copyright use and representation must be resubmitted for approval. Once approved, a link to your website will be included with your provider listing in our web site database, which can be searched at www.dyslexia.com/providers.htm and on our links page at www.dyslexia.com/links.htm

After initial approval, you must also get approval for any future changes to content related to your description of the Davis program or the services you provide. This requirement does not apply to changes of address, pricing, phone numbers, or dates.

It is acceptable to get approval via email, by notifying the DDAI Webmaster when you first create your site, or of any changes to an existing site. It is also acceptable for you to upload your web pages onto your server, pending our approval, provided you have reasonable access to your server and will be able to make changes promptly after a request. We are also happy to work directly with your site designer.
