Elysian Fields was founded in June 2006 and has been running — and evolving — ever since. We are a play-by-post forum-based game with a fun and friendly atmosphere for roleplayers of all ages and levels of experience. We operate on a skill system that keeps characters balanced, but we value freedom and the ability to have fun in a flexible community. Whether you are passionate about roleplaying, like a bit of worldbuilding, or just want to enjoy a fun and easy-going experience, you are welcome to join us!
Your characters. Your creations. Your game.
About the Elysian Fields
|
---|
Elysian Fields is set mainly on Elysia, one of three Known Realms created by a self-proclaimed goddess named Xanth. More advanced than Earth in some ways with technology based on crystals, Elysia nevertheless relies heavily on beasts of burden and family-run, eco-friendly cottage industries. Towns are few and far between and the wilderness is rife with danger, but Xanth's Children have thrived here. It is home, it is wild, and it is breath-taking — but mind your step.

Submitting to the Wiki

EF is built on the imaginations of not just its original creator but every member since. If you think there are gaps in the wiki, or if you have a cool idea you think would fit nicely in our world, feel free to add it! To that end, any member of EF can add and edit pages.
You will need to login using the member password, found in a box in the forums sidebar, to contribute to the wiki.
Please take a look at the following pages before attempting to submit an article. I also recommend playing around in our sandbox first.
# Wiki Organisation (explains how the wiki is laid out and which categories to add your page to)
# Wiki Standards (outlines linguistic standards for articles)
# Submissions (explains how to add and edit wiki articles)
