Air Canada Top Tier Status
For frequent travelers, the more you fly with Air Canada and the Star Alliance partner airlines, the closer you get to Air Canada Top Tier Status and all the advantages that accompany it. There are three Air Canada Top Tier statuses:
- Air Canada Super Elite®
- Air Canada Elite®
- Air Canada Prestige®
Air Canada Top Tier 2012 Qualification levels
The qualifying period for 2012 status is from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011. Here is the number of Air Canada Status Miles or Status flight segments needed to achieve 2012 Air Canada Top Tier status:

Air Canada Elite | 35,000 | 50 |
Air Canada Super Elite | 100,000 | 95 |
As part of the required number of Air Canada Status Miles or Status Flight Segments necessary to achieve Top Tier status, you need to earn a minimum of 10,000 Air Canada Status Miles or 5 Air Canada Status Flight Segments on eligible flights operated by Air Canada, or on behalf of Air Canada Express, flights operated by Jazz, Air Georgian Limited (doing business as Air Alliance), Exploits Valley Air Services LTD and Sky Regional Airlines.
Whether you qualify for Top Tier status with Air Canada Status Miles or Air Canada Status Flight Segments, you can meet the Air Canada Minimum Flight Requirement either by earning the required 10,000 Status Miles or 5 Status Flight Segments.
Air Canada Top Tier members receive a distinctive card and an incredible range of benefits.
Each member also receives Star Alliance Benefits and is eligible for Threshold Bonus Gifts like gift certificates and vacation packages simply for flying with Air Canada and the Star Alliance partner airlines around the world.
