About Us

I’ve loved shopping my whole life.

I remember my mother piling my brother and a very young me into our powder-blue Nash Rambler and heading to the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, N.J. : shopper’s paradise. We’d go to all the big stores – Bamberger’s, Stern’s, Gimbels – then treat ourselves to a big lunch to refuel after all our browsing.

Many years after that first shopping memory, and after many more spent trendspotting and shopping for my two daughters, I started Wickedly Chic in June 2006. For the past SIX years, it’s become a destination for shoppers seeking advice & product/service recommendations from the world of indie businesses.

I’m so lucky to get to share my passion for shopping and independent businesses every day: I’ve contributed to many online publications including canvas, Urban Darling, It’s All About Yes, OC Weekly, The Creative Junkie and numerous business-related blogs.

In 2010, I founded the Gift Giving Advisory Board with Lindsay Roberts of The Gift Insider and Anne-Marie Kovacs of The Succulent Wife. We’ve been featured in several ABC, NBC & FOX News segments as well as Yahoo’s Shine! and BlogHer.
