INDICATE (International Network for a Digital Cultural Heritage e-Infrastructure) is an European Union FP7 project which aims to establish a network of common interest made up of experts and researchers in the field of e-infrastructures and digital cultural heritage at Euro Mediterranean level.
Through the network, the participants can share experience, promote standards and guidelines, seek harmonisation of best practice and policy.

This workshop will take place in Catania, Italy next 20 April 2012 It takes place after 20 months of project activities, to present the intermediate project results to an international audience. The aim of the conference is to trigger a discussion about the sustainability of these results, in the frame of a longer vision where INDICATE aims to contribute to the creation of an open science infrastructure dedicated to the digital cultural heritage sector. | INDICATE Workshop on "Virtual Exhibitions" |
This workshop took place in Amman at the Department of Antiquities of Jordan last 11 December 2011 . The scope of the workshop was to present best practice examples of virtual exhibitions, to discuss how e-Infrastructures can be used to enhance virtual exhibitions applications, to analyse the resources which e-Infrastructures offer, and how they can be deployed to deal with virtual exhibitions implementations. The Digital Cultural Heritage repositories included in the e-Culture Science Gateway (eCSG) of INDICATE are ready for wide inspection and testing. Instructions about how to register and sign in on the eCSG are available at indicate-gw.consorzio-cometa.it/instructions-to-register-and-sign-in.
