I had a chance to revisit one of the first photowalks I took almost three years ago the Seminole Pow Wow festival. It was when I was shooting with my Canon SX10is, one of those advance super-zoom point and shoot cameras. One of the things I grabbed a picture of was the brightly colored ferris wheel. When I saw on the web that the festival was occurring this weekend I knew I had to go and get that shot again, more experienced, better camera. Through recent good fortunes I was able to upgrade my camera to the Nikon D5100. When I first shopped DSLR’s more than two years ago I was interested in the Nikon lineup which then consisted of the D3000 and D5000, both were unfortunately out of my price range. Read more »
