About

The Arcata Theatre Lounge is a 1938 Art Deco Cinema that has been reborn as an entertainment venue offering the best in live music, movies, dining and dancing. ATL is a beautiful venue yet casual, fun, social and unique in its array of entertainment.

At the ATL you can enjoy live music, films and other events while delighting in our full bar and menu which are open for every event.

Our seating for movies is not your typical fixed cinema seating, instead we have dinner style theatre seating with tables and chairs. This allows our guests to kick back and enjoy a full meal while they watch the show. Arcata theatre Lounge has one of the largest cinema screens in Northern California. All of our movies are $5, open to all ages and typically start in the evening. We strive to show movies that will create a fun and sociable atmosphere for our guests.

For music events the ATL transforms into a concert hall with plenty of room to dance and still be aable to see your favorite artist up on the stage. Many of our music events ar 21 and up, however we doo occasionally have all ages music shows. Shows typically start around 9 p.m. and go until 1:30 a.m. Pricing for these shows varies depending on the artist and can range from $6 to $40. In the past we have held shows for Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, Shpongle, Freak Nasty, Ghostface Killah, Immortal Technique, Anthony B, Alborosie, Jr. Reid, Rhythm Devils, Bruce Cockburn and Zepparella.

Along with music and movies, we utilize our gigantic screen for our weekly and monthly events. These include Giant Screen Monday Night Football, Sci-Fi Pint and pizza Night and YouTube Tons of Fries Night. Entry for all of these events is free when you purchase a minimum of $5 of food and beverage per person throughout the evening.

We offer a full Pub style menu that we serve for all of our shows. Our menu also includes the usual cinema goodies like soda, popcorn and candy, as well as homemade baked goods. Our kitchen is open at the start of each event and typically closes 30 minutes before the end of the event. At the bar we have a full cocktail menu and 13 beers on tap.
