Jo's Fleece Fields
is owned and operated by
Jody (Jo) and Don Stanwyck.
Farm visits welcome by appointment (no charge). Contact us to set up an appointment.

Jo's Fleece Fields was founded June 2003 in Longmont, Colorado. In June 2004 we relocated to the foothills of the Cascade Mountains to the community of Lake Joy, an unincorporated area near the towns of Carnation and Duvall Washington. Here, in this beautiful, friendly community, our herds of Alpacas, Llamas, Fiber Goats, our flocks of Chickens, Ducks, Peafowl, Turkey, and Pheasant, and our household Dogs all contribute to the joy in our lives.

At Jo's Fleece Fields we produce fleece from our Alpacas, Llamas, and Fiber Goats. Our award winning animals produce very fine fleece that is sold through our farm store raw, as rovings, and as yarns in varying weights for knitting, crocheting, or weaving. We believe our animals are excellent for those who want to get started in the rewarding business of raising these wonderful creatures and will further enrich the lives of long time owners and breeders, so if you are considering getting into goats or alpacas, please take time to consider our herd.

Visitors are welcome at Jo's Fleece Fields - it is best to make an appointment to visit so that we can make sure we have the time to spend introducing you to our many wonderful creatures. We also do school field trips, school shows, and can be booked for birthday parties and other farm-related displays when they are part of an agricultural event or study unit. Our contact information is at the bottom of the page.

Jo's Fleece Fields is also excited to sponsor the Snohomish County 4-H Hoofs-n-Paws club Alpaca project. We also volunteer as a WSU Extension Service livestock advisor, the Snohomish County 4-H Alpaca/Llama program leader, and Alpaca/Llama superintendents at various local fairs.
