GED Classes and Testing

GED preparation is now available at the Boulder Public Library through BoulderReads!

Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the BoulderReads! computer lab. If that time slot does not work for you, other classes at other locations are also available; for more information or to register, please call 720-561-5826.

GED testing is also now available at the Boulder Public Library through BoulderReads!

The test is administered on the second and last Thursday of each month, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the BoulderReads! computer lab. Our testing site is small, so please pre-register to help us accommodate you. To pre-register, please first register online at www.GED123.org and print out the registration confirmation to bring with you. Please also call 720-561-5826 to let us know which night you will be coming to our site to take the test.

There are five GED subtests, each of which take from an hour and five minutes to two hours to complete, depending on the test (reading, or math or writing, for example). The cost is $30 per subtest, payable by cash or check.
