The number one attraction in the UK, the British Museum is home to a world class collection of art and artefacts. A brief was set to investigate how it can interest, educate and engage with a young audience and to increase footfall amongst 9 to14 year olds.
We created an epic online adventure that mixes action with puzzle mechanics that would appeal to kids. The rewarding multi-level game spans across historic time periods and civilizations, and features actual museum objects that players are encouraged to visit.
The console quality gaming and a blend of narrative, characters, treasures, traps and mini-games, has resulted in a hugely popular experience. Web traffic and visitors numbers have increased substantially and it has gone on to win numerous awards.
