    I would like to have a song book for ukulele in which you can play the melody notes tied in with some of the chords. Ms. Marxer plays 5 foot two in this style where you can pick the melody notes individually but also bring in some chords with the melody notes.

    the book is great, my progress is slow, no fault of the content of the book, however i’m a bit confused about keys. page 20 of the book, para 3 states, in part ‘…….Usually, but not always, the last chord of a song will be the key…’
    should this read …the first chord of a song will be the key…..’?

    I have been looking everywhere for a good version of “In My Merry Oldsmobile” with a Ukulele arrangement. There is one uke instruction book with a CD that has it but it sounds awful, simplistic and uninspired with a casio keyboard playing in the background! I’ve even been trying to figure out what the uke chords would be by looking at the original sheet music but I don’t know what I’m doing. I got some advice from a musician but he said to learn about chord spelling. I’d really like to learn this song. I don’t really want to have to understand music theory before I can play it. Please post this as a featured song with the chords! I can’t even find it on youtube being played on a ukulele. It’s such great song. So perfect for this instrument. Thank you for your consideration.
