The Buttermilk Truck brings homemade breakfast favorites to the streets of Los Angeles using our key ingredient, BUTTERMILK, in almost all our menu items. Buttermilk provides you the most important meal of the day, catering to those who are too busy to make breakfast and those craving breakfast after a long “fun” night. Buttermilk Truck takes pride in making our Buttermilk biscuits and assorted breakfast pastries from scratch and baked daily. Our Buttermilk pancake, waffle and donut batters are also all made from scratch and cooked to order. WE at Buttermilk truck LOVE breakfast and we want to share it with you!

My favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I can eat breakfast morning, noon, and night.  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yet the one that is most often skipped due to our crazy morning schedules.  I wanted to be able to provide homemade diner breakfast favorites to morning rushers and for those last night cravings.

I graduated from LMU with a BA in Business Administration and shortly after went to culinary school in NYC at The French Culinary Institute for Pastry Arts. I’ve interned at Nobu NYC and worked as the pastry chef at Bin 8945. I combined my business skills with my love for food especially breakfast and created Buttermilk, Inc.

Buttermilk Boy –  Klippy

Klippy’s lifestyle and love for the most important meal of the day has won him the “Buttermilk Boy” honor.  Klippy is your “typical” 10 year boy, born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Klippy cannot wait to wake up every morning to the smell of bacon and eggs cooking on the stovetop. He sneaks some bacon in his pocket for a mid day snack. He secretly feeds his English bulldog, Sparky, breakfast links with maple syrup.

Klippy’s claim to fame is Junior Champion Buttermilk Pancake Contest Winner with a whopping record time: 25 pancakes in 5 minutes. He washed it all down with his signature drink: milk and maple syrup. Whenever Klippy comes to Los Angeles to visit his sister, an aspiring actress, he makes sure she brings him to The Buttermilk Truck. Be sure to catch Klippy’s happy cheerful roaming face around LA.
