A brief description about CAMTAD (Campaign for Tackling Acquired Deafness)

CAMTAD support people with hearing loss. Volunteers run hearing help sessions on a regular basis at local venues, where people can get information about hearing loss and the help available to manage the condition. NHS hearing aid users can get free batteries and maintenance of their aids at the drop-in sessions.

CAMTAD also provides advice on assistive equipment such as amplified telephones and TV listeners which enhance the quality of sound, with regular demonstrations of the latest technology.

Free training and talks about hearing loss and hearing aids are available to local groups.

CAMTAD is a Registered Charity; No 275155.
